Background for the establishment of the system for rain drop utilization.The matter of the water shortage is not a story far ahead to us in the midst of the global severance of water shortage. We, World dinosaur Expo in Gosung, Gyeongnam is going to establish the rain drop utilization system to provide the countermeasure for this and deliver the right notion for the rain drop for the tourists visiting World dinosaur Expo in Goseong, Gyeongnam 2012 by adopting the water control system as the tourism resources and to promote the effective operation inside the tourism area via saving the water supply quantity and improving the self sufficiency ratio for water.

1. Establishing the tourism base of self sufficient water type using the rain drops - Correct the wrong understanding of the spectators for the rain drops

First, Are the hairs lost when you are under the acid rain? The yogurt which is frequently drunk has the acidity of pH 3.4, juice for pH 3.0, cola for pH 2.5. The acidity of the shampoo and rinse which are used everyday has extreme acidity of pH 3.5. And then, what is the acidity of the rain drops? The acidity of the rain drops is pH 5.6 which is close to the neutral property.

Second, the rain drops are dirty because of heave air pollution. No. it is not. The origin of the water which we are using is the rain drops. The rain drops from the sky passed the valleys and flowed into the lake and river and this water is collected at the water reservoir and it is coming to us as a water tap supply through purification at the purification plant.

Third, we are the country of water shortage defined by UN. Korea is fairly good at the water supply with 43rd rank out of 147 countries in the water shortage index published by the UNESCO in 2006. Namely, we are not the water shortage country but the country of poor water control.

2. Utilizing as the tourism resource through the establishment of rain drop circulation system- Reduce the tap water consumption through the efficient using the rain drop!! The purpose of the World dinosaur Expo in Gosung, Gyeongnam 2012 is to improve the self sufficiency ratio of the water by using the rain drops as the drinking water, landscape water, fountain water, bathroom flushing water, emergency water, swimming pool water and daily life water inside the complex. The various eye catchings to the spectators are provided by installing the swimming pool using the rain drop symbolizing the dinosaur's eyes, drinking stand using the rain drop symbolizing the dinosaur and dinosaur's egg, rain drop passage to water the exhibition hall along the rain drop flow by the spectator, rain drop water fall, rain drop fountain in dinosaur shape and water drinking dinosaur and play facilities using the rain drops

3. Utilizing as a life classroom to experience 「The rain drops are the gift from the heaven not the disaster」- The green tourism place is established inside the EXPO event area through the establishment of the water control system and acquiring the environment friendly water resources which are tuned for the recent green growth trend and we are purposed to make the EXPO event area as the classroom for rain drop promotion by establishing the rain drop circulation system.
